>>Fremont Freedom Flicks:
  Meaningful Movies for Our Times

Northwest CyberArtists sponsors the Fremont Freedom Flicks, showing independent-lens documentaries on issues of current interest. Weekly screenings take place Sundays at the Visionary Dance Studios (4128 Fremont Avenue North, across from the Buckaroo) and include a discussion after the film and announcements for social-action oriented events. Admission is by donation, with $5 per person the suggested minimum. Show time is at 7:30; doors open at 7 p.m.

Freedom Flicks 2005 schedule is as follows: March 20, an indymedia double bill: Amy Goodman's Independent Media in a Time of War paired with The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, an inside look at the failed U.S.-backed coup attempt in Venezuela in 2002. Independent Media Excellence!

On March 27, the Stop The Wall Campaign will present Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land.

On April 3 we'll present George Orwell Rolls in His Grave, a penetrating look at Orwellian uses of media and language in the 21st Century.

We need volunteers to help run and publicize the Freedom Flicks. If you wish to volunteer, please contact Larry.
