WEBSITE LAUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT:
2-Color Postcard & Illustration
For launch of a new online directory of sustainable businesses in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood, Larry created this postcard announcement. He drew the illustration (inspired by the famous Center of the Universe sign at Fremont's main intersection) and the balloons using Illustrator 10, giving a festive look to the piece and giving it a recognizable local identity. Type and overall layout were accomplished in Adobe InDesign 2.0. At several stages of design, .pdf copies were posted online for client to inspect, correct, and critique. Larry also helped with the print purchasing, supplied the color separated digital files to the printer's specs, and aproved the final version on press.
