The Todd Rundgren Beetle is decorated with
computer-generated vinyl printouts
of the graphics from Rundgren CD liners. Sue's husband Gene is an installer of
adhesive vinyl graphics commercially produced by SuperGraphics Div. of GM
Nameplate in Seattle. This production catered to Sue's love for Rundgren and his hard-driving music. This is
probably the slickest of the half dozen Art Cars in Tacoma, which will play
host to Seattle Art Cars once again at Arts on the Ave July 21. Tacoma
previously hosted a
wonderful Art Car event at the Tacoma Art Museum in June
2001.
