From Golden Gardens through
Ballard and on into Fremont

Sunday June 22, 2003 @ 11:15!

We're expecting more than 60 art cars for our big parade, including MSV, Slim's Recycled Pickup, Tom Kennedy's twinkie-shooting eyeball, and Ken Gerberick's incredible '62 Buick! Our parade route runs from Golden Gardens Park into Ballard via Seaview Ave. and turns off Market at Leary, where we'll have our reviewing stand set up at Bergen Square; then it's a straight shot down Leary Way to Fremont, where the cars will be on display for a second fun-filled day along N. 35th Street, between Redhook Brewery and ProLab.

Good viewing spots abound along the route. Take in the Parade from the Shilshole Marina, beneath the green forest on Sunset Hill, while Puget Sound sparkles to seaward. Or take a break from your morning coffee on Market Street to see the cars process past Bergen Square in Seattle's Scandinavian heartland.

In addition to 30 or so "native" Art Cars, we're hosting visiting celebrity visitors from around the block and around the globe...from Vancouver (BC), the Bay Area, Spokane, Portland, Sacramento, Eugene...even faraway Kansas, Texas and Florida! Cars will remain on display all afternoon at the Fremont Fair. This will be a weekend to treasure in memory for many a year.

Art Cars Rock!!
