MIRABILIS STATVARIVS VEHICVLVM
By Scot Campbell - General View of Vehicle
Here it is...MSV, arguably the greatest Art Car in the Northwest,
as it appeared in the Seattle Art Car Blow-Out June 26-27, 1999.
Extremo delighted kids of all ages with his schtick performed from the driver's seat of his car, fashioned on an old Mazda chassis and looking for all the world like a Gothic cathedral gone ape.
This view is taken along the Flag Pavilion Mall at Seattle Center, where the 30-some Art Cars were shown to the public the weekend of the inaugural Art Car Blow-Out, after parading for delighted throngs of bouquet-tossing Art Car aficionados.
Immediately behind MSV you see the Lincoln Toe Truck, which joined in the festivities on Saturday, proudly waving the SASS Art Car Squadron banner from its boom. And in the driver's seat of MSV is its crazed creator in full clown get-up, mesmerizing crowds of children at the artsEdge Festival!
