For a realtor with strong local roots, specializing in classic Colonial and Early American homes, Larry Neilson created this sign and painting, based on an old woodcut illustration of activities at the town wharf which the firm's offices overlook (in the white clapboard building at the right). Painted in One-Shot Sign Painters' Enamels on panel, the sign includes deeply routed lettering around the edges and a dark green frame over all. Sky was painted metallic gold, but rendered an orange-gold color for this 4/color print version, used on the company's calendar for several years.
