The genius of Larry Steiner comes into full play in this masterfully detailed composition. The entire truck (in which the artist has been known to bed down) evokes the funky graphics of the late Sixties; but especially so this "parting shot" (or was that a partying shot?) The details of frog, dragonfly and lizard are a delight, as is the flair for flowing line and design. This vehicle is being entirely reconstructed from the ground up, and will be seen at the June 26, 1999 Seattle Art Car Parade and Blow-Out at Seattle Center.
