The Seattle Center Shooting Gallery is a classic bit of 1960s kitsch, in effect a 3-dimensional cartoon, with silly animated birds (shown), a growling bear, and a honky-tonk piano player juxtaposed to a realistic background painting of Western scenery. It was restored to its full low-tech glory during 1993 in a major renovation of Seattle Center, the big park at the base of the Space Needle where Seattle families go to play.
