In her colorful Madrona home, Rainbow House, she sculpts dragons and angels in miniature incorporating crystals and hand-blown glass in their composition. A grandmother of 8, Dee Dee is a regular at jazz festivals and other celebrations all over the West Coast (see her at the Fremont Solstice Parade in Wild in the Streets), performs weddings and services of union in her unique style, and emcees events including the Ballard Seafood Festival and the lighting of the City's Christmas tree at Westlake Center--a celebration of community attended by more than 10,000.
