The SOCIETY OF SILLINESS (S.O.S.) is a
group of high school students who go around rabble-rousing, protesting against
Gravity (Down with Gravity!), and cutting up in campy fashion. This example
of their artwork was painted on a trash can in the Belltown neighborhood
during Belltown Inside Out, a street fair dedicated to beautifying this
interesting mixed neighborhood. The other sides of the can also poke fun
at capitalist greed, but your Photo Editor could not resist this cigar-chomping
Pig gloating over his pile of loot.
The painting is signed "P. Earwig," an obvious put-on.
