MIRABILIS    STATVARIVS    VEHICVLVM
By Scot Campbell - Rear View With Fountain

Fountain on rear of MSV Art CarHere is the inspired climax of MSV: a working fountain pouring out of the genie's mouth on the rear side of the Tower, and recirculating back through a pump and a system of PVC pipes inside the car. The fountain itself is on two levels, with the water from the upper pool spouting forth through an arc of fishes' mouths into the lower basin.

MSV mesmerized kids of all ages at Seattle Center, as it does wherever it goes. The folks seen in the background here were raptly watching Extremo's mile-a-minute schtick with one of his skull puppets.

Scot "Extremo the Clown" Campbell is an artist and entertainer living in Portland, Oregon. When he's not busy clowning around, he makes a good living painting advertising cartoons inside of windows in the metro Portland area. He also records and composes music, and generally pokes fun at anything and everything. His energy is manic and exhilarating, if exhausting. Seattle thanks Extremo for all his help promoting the 1999 and subsequent Art Car Blow-Outs--there's no one like him!
