CANDID is the creation of Jennifer Larsen, a Seattle-based
illustrator and graphic artist. It depicts the adventures of Candid, a
svelte socialite, her impossibly beautiful and birdbrained boyfriend Christoph,
and the wily Duck who makes perceptive and sarcastic comments on the couples'
pecadillos. 
CANDID
is covered from top to bottom with comic art. The hood has two panels of
Candid in different roles on it. The roof features a goddess with incredibly
long, wavy hair. The quarter panels have mirror balls attached, casting
sparkly reflections above a painting of radiating light beams.
Original statuettes
of the three characters adorn the hood, roof and antenna.
CANDID has been seen regularly with the Seattle Art Cars since its
creation. It was seen in the Tacoma Art Museum show in June 2001, at the
2001 Blowout in Seattle, and at the show at the Snohomish County Art Center in
