The turret model shown is a circa 1926 16" triple turret. Curiously, the external footage of the guns firing is from a different ship: a World War I-era 15" battleship with twin turrets, as modernized between the world wars. Shown is a slightly more automated operation than the pre-dreadnought machinery from the turn of the century. However, the principle remains the same.
