Featured Video: HMS Hood versus Schlachtschiff Bismarck
A simulation of the epic battle of May 1941 in the Denmark Strait (1:50). Britain's showboat, the 45,200-ton Hood, was demolished within 10 minutes of opening action with the new German battleship Bismarck. One of the last battleship actions in history, and one of the few in WWII. Also present were the German heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen and the new King George V class battleship Prince of Wales, which was seriously damaged and retired from the fight after the Hood exploded.
