ART OF RESISTANCE: Benefit Concert Flyer Design
As one of the many dozens of volunteer artist-activists who brought the Art of Resistance Conference into existence in 2004, Larry Neilson assisted with graphics, elbow-grease, and old-fashioned shoe-leather to raise funds for this necessary and inspiring event. Here is his design for one of the small-scale but very effective benefit concerts that got things rolling. The "Bruce Springsteen" theme was his idea, carried out with photos downloaded from the Web. It sure made patrons on the street look twice!
