Seattle Art Cars is a loose coalition of some 40 people who make and own Art Cars in the greater Seattle area. We bring smiles and laughter wherever we go, defusing road rage and, by our very presence, reminding people to lighten up.
We host the Seattle Art Car Blowout, America's third largest art car festival, each June as a program of the Fremont Fair. We participate in other cities' neighborhood events and arts fairs, and as individuals, journey to Art Car festivals in other cities and regions. We facilitate the creation of new Art Cars whenever possible. We partner with community groups and schools to bring out the zany creativity which lurks within all of us all through art car appreciation, creation, and other artistic pursuits.
