For his commercial client, Arthur Andersen & Co., Larry created a suite of collateral materials for a Derivatives Seminar, including brochure (cover shown), envelope, registration form, customer evaluation form (left), and reply envelope. All were designed in Adobe PageMaker. Larry also shot the photograph of the compass in his studio; this was the key visual for the seminars and was repeated on all the pieces of this mailing and the program notes for the seminar itself. Each participant received a genuine leather binder for his or her papers, with the compass logo embossed and picked out in a small gold hot-foil stamp on the cover. This project was typical of a large volume of work produced for this client in Seattle in the late 1990s. (Note: the Seattle AA office did not to my knowledge do any work for Enron, Qwest or any other crooked companies.) Typically layouts were submitted electronically and finals released to printers on diskette or ZIP disks.
